The CELA certification is a nationally recognized credential awarded to attorneys who demonstrate substantial involvement and experience in elder law and who meet rigorous requirements involving peer review, continuing legal education, and successful completion of a comprehensive certification examination.
Malia also holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation, reflecting experience and specialized knowledge in fiduciary administration, trusts, and related financial and ethical responsibilities.
