It is bittersweet to announce that MaxCorp will bid farewell to Executive Director and Attorney Miyoko Pettit-Toledo on May 12, 2022 as she embarks on a new career path as an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law, where she will teach Civil Procedure and Legal Writing and focus on her scholarship on civil procedure (with an emphasis on electronic discovery), social justice, and civil and human rights starting in August 2022. Miyoko has had a significant impact during her tenure as ED at MaxCorp, and we are thankful for her service. We are proud of this new career path that she is on and wish her all the best!
The Board of Governors has selected and appointed Malia Alexander as the incoming Executive Director and Attorney, effective January 1, 2022. Malia has served as a Staff Attorney with MaxCorp since May 2020.
